Na jaren van intieme ambacht opent Ilo Meeze ter gelegenheid van zijn verjaardag de avond met songs op gitaar. Na een reis doorheen Ilo’s bezonnen wereld opent het Groove Brothers quintet de open jam. Van funky Vulfpeck tot fifties Chicago blues, de Groove Brothers weten altijd de zaal op te zwepen! Vervolgens wordt het podium geopend. De open jam verloopt in vier sessies, ieder ongeveer 45 minuten. Iedere sessie staat in teken van een genre (soul, songwriter, jazz & blues) maar de naam zegt het zelf: de jam is open, andere wendingen zijn welgekomen!
The living room of the Pastory will be opened for an evening of music. After years of intimate craftsmanship, Ilo Meeze opens the evening on the occasion of his birthday with songs on guitar. After a journey through Ilo’s contemplative world, the Groove Brothers quintet kicks off the open jam. From funky Vulfpeck to fifties Chicago blues, the Groove Brothers always know how to get the crowd going! The stage is then opened up. The open jam runs in four sessions, each approximately 45 minutes. Each session is centred around a genre (soul, songwriter, jazz & blues) but the name says it all: the jam is open, other directions are welcome!
